SCHENECTADY – The leaders of RIVERS CASINO AND RESORT shared a first look on Wednesday of the inside of the $330 million dollar worth project is now under construction.
RUSH STREET GAMING, It?s the company developing casino, said the steel required for developing the casino has almost been completed and the facet will go up in the next one or two weeks. The CASINO is going to have an attractive and modern look and the company decides to the place along the river with lots of exciting and thrilling things to do along the riverfront, and with plaza and natural lighting.
This will occupy some 50,000 square feet of gaming and a wide variety of restaurants which include Schenectady favorites Johnny?s and Villa Italia Bakery.
RUSH STREET says they are even working together with Proctors to add the real fun and entertainment to the casino.
?We have some deal with Proctors in which we work together with them on our entertainment part, but we have some acts, little house bands in our lounge,? the VICE PRESIDENT OF OPERATIONS, JOE SCIBETTA, Said.
With this project, employment will be offered to 1200 people for full time, and the job details are expected to be posted soon. The training offered by RUSH STREET for the new employees is free of cost.
It?s expected that the casino will be opened by the first quarter of 2017.
